About Us
Dr. Winnie Chen received her Bachelor of Science Honors at Queen’s University, and later graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo.
She completed a clinical internship at the Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida, where she worked alongside multiple ophthalmologists. Here she gained valuable experience in diagnosing and treating eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts and dry eyes.
Dr. Chen had the opportunity to travel to Durango, Mexico with I Care International, a volunteer organization providing free eye care services to underprivileged locals. She hopes to continue to participate on these optometric mission trips in the future.
Dr. Chen prioritizes on promoting and educating about eye health. She welcomes new patients and is committed to provide exceptional ocular and vision care for the whole family.
She is currently a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists.
